Deirdre Moran has joined the HBCA team having spent her NZ working career to date from early 2008 in the non-for-profit sector - firstly as a Membership Services Manager, and more recently as an Administration Co-ordinator - so she is no stranger to membership based organisations led by committees and boards.
Deirdre is originally from Ireland and moved to Wellington to follow her husband who was seconded to New Zealand in late 2007. She is the proud and busy mum of 2 young daughters (3 and 5 years old).
Having studied French and Italian at Trinity College Dublin to graduate level, she qualified with a B.A (Hons.) before commencing work using her language skills in the Irish capital with various multi-national companies; notably with Xerox (delivering customer support in the French department) and Infineon Technologies (as Customer Logistics Management Specialist for a portfolio of high profile clients in the telecommunications industry).
While she enjoyed travelling extensively throughout Europe both for work and for pleasure, with two young children (and a few more miles on the clock!) she now appreciates the healthier work/life balance that living in New Zealand offers, and is delighted to start a new adventure with HBCA.
